2. Acceptance and eligibility
These Terms govern your access to and use of the websites domicode.gr and app.domicode.gr and the Domicode platform (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept these Terms. The Service is intended for professional and business use by persons aged 18 or over. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you are authorised to bind it, and "you" includes that organisation.
3. The Service
Domicode is a regulatory information platform for the Greek construction sector. It retrieves and presents provisions of Greek building and planning regulation with citations to their official sources, and may offer related features such as document review against regulatory provisions. Responses are generated with the assistance of artificial intelligence systems operating over our curated regulatory corpus.
4. No professional advice; your responsibility
The Service provides information, not advice. Specifically:
- Outputs are informational and may be incomplete, out of date or contain errors.
- The Service is not a substitute for legal, engineering or architectural advice, for your own professional judgement, or for confirmation from the competent authorities.
- You must verify any information you rely on against the official publications in force (including the ΦΕΚ) and the applicable law at the relevant time.
- Professional responsibility for studies, designs, permit applications, filings, certifications and any decision or act based on information from the Service remains solely with you.
5. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal to the registered user; do not share credentials. Notify us promptly at info@domicode.gr of any unauthorised use.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service unlawfully or in breach of these Terms;
- scrape, crawl, bulk-download or systematically extract the contents of the Service or its underlying database;
- resell, sublicense or provide the Service to third parties as a service bureau without our written agreement;
- reverse engineer, decompile or attempt to derive the Service's underlying models, data structures or source code, except to the extent such restriction is prohibited by law;
- circumvent usage limits, authentication or other technical or security measures;
- use the Service or its outputs to build a competing dataset, product or model;
- submit content that is unlawful or infringes the rights of others.
We may apply fair usage limits to protect the Service for all users.
7. Your content
You retain all rights in the queries you submit and the documents you upload ("Customer Content"). You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to process Customer Content solely to provide, secure and improve the Service, consistent with our Privacy Policy. You warrant that you have the rights necessary to submit Customer Content and that it does not infringe third-party rights.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, interfaces, compilation, curation, structure, metadata, documentation and trade marks, is owned by Domicode or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property law, including database rights. Statutory and regulatory texts presented through the Service are official public documents; the selection, verification, structuring, enrichment and presentation of those texts within the Service are Domicode's protected work. Except for the limited right to use the Service under these Terms, no rights are granted to you.
9. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure and technology providers acting as our processors or suppliers. Their availability and performance may affect the Service.
10. Fees
Access is currently provided free of charge or under individually agreed pilot arrangements. When paid subscriptions launch, prices will be published in the Service, exclusive of VAT and applicable taxes. We will give at least 30 days' notice of new fees or fee changes affecting your existing plan; continued use after the notice period constitutes acceptance.
11. Availability and changes to the Service
The Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We use reasonable efforts to keep it operating continuously, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may carry out maintenance. We may modify, add or withdraw features; where a change materially reduces the Service you have paid for, we will give you reasonable prior notice.
12. Warranty disclaimer
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
13. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profits, loss of business, loss of data, or loss arising from your reliance on outputs of the Service contrary to clause 4;
- our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to us for the Service in that period, or EUR 100 if you paid none.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for wilful misconduct or gross negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under Greek law. Mandatory statutory rights of consumers, where applicable, are not affected.
14. Indemnity
You will indemnify Domicode against third-party claims, damages and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the Service or your breach of these Terms.
15. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access with immediate effect if you materially breach these Terms, if your use creates a security or legal risk, or in case of non-payment of due fees. On termination your right to use the Service ends; you may request export of your Customer Content within 30 days of termination, after which clause 8 of the Privacy Policy's retention rules apply. Clauses which by their nature should survive (including 4, 7, 8, 12, 13, 14 and 18) survive termination.
16. Data protection
Our processing of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy at domicode.gr/privacy. Business customers requiring a data processing agreement may contact us at info@domicode.gr.
17. General
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us regarding the Service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them to an affiliate or in connection with a merger or sale. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. Notices to us go to info@domicode.gr; notices to you go to your account email.
18. Governing law, jurisdiction and language
These Terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Athens have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules where they apply. These Terms are drafted in English for convenience; once a Greek version is published, the Greek version prevails.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. For material changes we will give at least 30 days' notice through the Service or by email. Continued use after the effective date of the change constitutes acceptance.
